Levain Cookie in a Mug
Many people ask about the Levain 2.0 recipe and how it could be made into smaller portions! Here are the ingredients and steps to making a single portion of Levain cookie so nothing goes to waste! This actually makes two mug cookies, so you might want to share with a friend (or not ;))

Ingredients
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 egg
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp corn starch
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup Dark chocolate Ghirardelli chocolate
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Steps
- preheat oven to 400
- cream together sugars and butter until smooth in a mixing bowl
- mix in half of one egg (mix egg in a separate bowl and pour in half of the mixture). stir until smooth
- mix all dry ingredients together: salt, flour, cornstarch, baking soda and mix with the wet ingredients
- stir until dough has formed
- fold in chocolate chips and walnuts
- split into two balls, place in fridge for 20-30 minutes (optional)
- place each ball in a its own mug and bake at 400 for 12 minutes
