Charcuterie Nachos

make me
Ingredients
Serving Size: 8-10 guests
1 bag of potato chips (I used jalapeño honey kettle chips)
1/2 lb prosciutto, thinly sliced
1/2 lb salami, thinly sliced
1/2 lb soppressata or your favorite Italian cured meat, thinly sliced
1/2 cup parmesan, shredded
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup stracciatella
Hot honey, for drizzle
Dollops of fig jam
1/4 cup roasted red peppers, optional
Fresh arugula or mixed greens (optional)
Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Layers:
Spread the chips of your choice in a single layer on a large baking sheet or dish.
Layer the Charcuterie: Tear the prosciutto, salami, and soppressata into smaller pieces and distribute them evenly over the chips. Try to make sure each chip gets a little bit of the meat for every bite.
2. Add the Cheese:
Sprinkle the cheeses over the charcuterie and chips evenly so you get a bite of everything together.
3. Top with Toppings:
Add any toppings you want. I used fig jam, arugula, hot honey and caramelized onion jam.
4. Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme for a fragrant touch. Serve immediately to keep them from getting soggy.
