let’s make something Naughty

Italian Sushi Rolls

make me

Ingredients

Serving Size: 10 peices

  • 8 slices of prosciutto (thinly sliced, for the outer wrap)

  • 4 slices of spicy salami

  • 4 slices of regular salami

  • 1 roasted red pepper, sliced

  • 2 tbsp pesto

  • 4 sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

  • 1 ball of burrata, torn into small pieces

  • 1/4 cup grated Gruyère cheese

  • 1 handful of fresh arugula

  • Olive oil, for drizzling

  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling

  • Fresh cracked pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Prosciutto:
Lay out a sheet of plastic wrap on a flat surface. Arrange the prosciutto slices so that they overlap slightly, forming a rectangular shape that will be used as your "sushi mat."

  2. Assemble the Filling:
On the prosciutto, layer the ingredients:

  • Spicy salami and regular salami slices.

  • Spread a thin layer of pesto on top of the salami.

  • Add slices of roasted red pepper and sun-dried tomatoes.

  • Scatter grated Gruyère cheese for that cheesy, melty texture.

  • Gently tear the burrata into small pieces and add it on top for creamy goodness.

  • Top with a few arugula leaves for a bit of fresh green crunch.

  • Top with a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic glaze. Freshly cracked pepper to taste.

  1. Roll It Up:
Carefully roll the prosciutto, starting from one edge, as tightly as you can, much like making sushi. Use the plastic wrap to help keep the roll tight as you go. Make sure the burrata doesn’t spill out!

  2. Slice the Rolls:
Once the roll is tightly wrapped, remove the plastic wrap and slice the roll into bite-sized pieces, like sushi rolls. Serve!
