Edible Cookie Dough Pastries!



  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened (1/2 cup)
  • 1 egg + tbsp milk mixed together (for pastry coating)
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips
  • 1 box puff pastries


  • allow¬†puff pastries to thaw for 40 minutes and preheat oven to 400
  • meanwhile, mix together butter and brown sugar until even. Add milk and stir
  • slowly add in flour and salt
  • fold in chocolate chips
  • cut both pastry sheets into 9 even squares and add a spoonful of cookie dough to center of each
  • top one side of each pastry with the other side and use the back of a fork to attach both sides
  • coat top with egg and milk mixture and place in oven for ~10 minutes or until golden brown
