EDIBLE COOKIE DOUGH PASTRIES!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 stick unsalted butter, softened (1/2 cup)
- 1 egg + tbsp milk mixed together (for pastry coating)
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips
- 1 box puff pastries

STEPS
- allow puff pastries to thaw for 40 minutes and preheat oven to 400
- meanwhile, mix together butter and brown sugar until even. Add milk and stir
- slowly add in flour and salt
- fold in chocolate chips
- cut both pastry sheets into 9 even squares and add a spoonful of cookie dough to center of each
- top one side of each pastry with the other side and use the back of a fork to attach both sides
- coat top with egg and milk mixture and place in oven for ~10 minutes or until golden brown
